The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced SAP BTP & S/4HANA Cloud Engineer to join the internal technology function of a large, established organisation. This is a genuine in-house IT role, where you will take ownership of the organisation's own SAP cloud environment, supporting its development, integration and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in managing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrating SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and driving automation and cloud technology initiatives.
Tasks
- Manage, configure and optimise SAP BTP environments.
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Support cloud infrastructure, connectivity and system performance.
- Drive automation initiatives using SAP Build Process Automation and related technologies.
- Establish technical standards, architecture guidelines and best practices.
- Ensure cloud security, governance and compliance.
- Work closely with internal IT teams, developers and business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.
Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Understanding of SAP automation technologies and SAP Build Process Automation.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance and infrastructure management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent German and English.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
