To strengthen our team in Winnenden (Stuttgart area) as soon as possible, we are looking for an Accounting Finance Manager (m/f/d)
Your role:
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of accounting operations across the company and lead, coach and develop the local accounting team
- Manage and coordinate the operational monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the head of Financial Accounting in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP
- Oversee the general ledger and sub-ledgers, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, intercompany accounting and balance sheet substantiation
- Prepare key balance sheet, cash flow and foreign exchange reporting for EMEA Finance and local management
- Support and coordinate the operational preparation of statutory financial statements as well as consolidation and management reporting requirements
- Execute and monitor accounting controls within the established governance framework and ensure compliance with finance policies and documentation standards
- Manage the day-to-day coordination of external and internal audits, including evidence provision, issue tracking and follow-up of agreed actions
- Act as a key finance process expert for SAP S/4HANA, particularly across FI/MM/CO and integrated accounting processes
- Support project initiatives such as the implementation of digital accounting solutions, e-invoicing and scalable close management practices
- Maintain process documentation, control narratives and work instructions in accordance with applicable standards and the governance framework
Your profile:
- Extensive professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally gained in an international or matrix organisation
- Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a comparable qualification; a recognised accounting qualification is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP, with practical experience in monthly closing, statutory accounts, reconciliations, accounting controls and audits
- Previous experience in leading, supervising or coordinating an accounting team
- Strong SAP knowledge, preferably SAP S/4HANA with experience in FI/MM/CO; understanding of integrated MM and reporting processes is an advantage
- Advanced competence in Microsoft 365, especially MS Excel
- Good command of German and English
