Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as an Aerodynamics Engineer - Dataset Team/Modelling (m/f/d) at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

Analyze the aerodynamic characteristics of high agility fighter aircraft
Model and design aerodynamic datasets for stability & control, performance, and loads assessments
Ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability of aerodynamic data
Support the preparation and conduction of wind tunnel and flight test programs
Analyze and assess aerodynamic characteristics of high agility fighter aircrafts
Model and design aerodynamics datasets throughout the envelope for stability & control, performance and loads assessments
Perform flight test data analysis
Support the conduction of wind tunnel and flight test campaigns

Your Profile:

Completed studies in engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
Profound knowledge in aerodynamics and flight mechanics with an affinity to fighter aircraft
Very good knowledge in MS-Office
Good knowledge in Python
Good programming skills in Fortran as well as familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems are a must have
Fluent English skills both spoken and written
Good German language skills
Ability to prioritize technical solutions in order to balance economic constraints - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (2-3 times per year for 1-4 weeks to USA and Amsterdam
