Associate Digitalisation of Education (gn)

• CIVICA portfolio: Development of content (videos, documentation, etc.) on the digitalisation of education (e.g., AI literacy) for CIVICA institutions and the Hertie School community.
• Digital Support for Instructors: Serve as the main contact point for instructors on learning management systems and digital teaching tools (e.g. Moodle, Vimeo, Rise Articulate, and campus instructor portal); recording of lecture sessions; and support for online exam software, among others. This will require liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders at the university including Instructors, Faculty Assistants, Examination Office, Facility Management, Communications, and IT.
• Digitalisation of Programme Management Infrastructure: Work on specific projects to further develop and automate the systems and processes for programme and course management, with a particular focus on the needs of Curricular Affairs and Examination Office (e.g. digital exams).
• AI Literacy: Contribute to the general AI readiness of our staff and instructors, by offering regular trainings on how to use AI responsibly for various purposes and in different contexts (teaching, learning, research, administration). This will require close collaboration with the Academic Counsellor, the Library, the Examination Office, the CIVICA Team, and other key stakeholders in the university.

• Proficiency with e-learning platforms and systems (e.g. Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Rise Articulate)
• High level of AI literacy and a genuine interest in understanding and testing AI tools in the higher education context
