Bid / Proposal Manager (English) (m/f/d)

You will manage bids of varying complexity and value, working closely with Business Development, Sales, Engineering and other stakeholders to develop high-quality, competitive proposals.

• Manage bids and proposals from initial planning through to final submission.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional bid teams and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Analyse customer requirements and ensure compliant, high-quality proposals.
• Coordinate contributions from internal stakeholders, partner companies and subcontractors.
• Prepare, review and structure proposal documentation.
• Coordinate bid-related activities with functions such as Sales, Engineering, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure bid milestones and submission deadlines are met.
• Contribute to lessons learned and the continuous improvement of Bid Management processes and templates.

What You Bring

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Project Management or a comparable commercial role.
• Experience managing complex and preferably technical bids or proposals.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in German and English (C1/C2).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A structured, detail-oriented and independent working style.
• Advanced MS Word skills.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• EU citizenship due to security requirements.
• Ability to obtain and hold the required German security clearance.

Desirable

• Experience working in an engineering-driven or highly technical environment; a technical or engineering background would be an advantage.
• Experience in the space, aerospace, defence or another technology-driven industry.
• APMP accreditation or comparable Bid Management qualification.
• Experience with bid strategy frameworks.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
