Bilanzbuchhalter:in / Accountant (m/w/x)

You take on full responsibility for ongoing financial accounting. You are responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements under HGB (German GAAP). You reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and ensure clean account management. You handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. You carry out intercompany reconciliations and intercompany charges between our companies. You prepare VAT returns and handle further tax matters together with our external tax advisor. You work together with auditors, tax advisors, and internal contacts. You contribute to the further development and digitalization of our finance processes. You prepare evaluations, analyses, and reports and present relevant information in an understandable way.

You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as a Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r), Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau), or in a comparable field. Further training as a Certified Bookkeeper (Bilanzbuchhalter:in, IHK) is an advantage. You have practical experience in accounting, especially financial accounting and monthly and annual closings. You are confident with DATEV and Excel. You have very good knowledge of HGB accounting and a sound understanding of German tax regulations, especially VAT. You work in a structured, careful, and independent way. You communicate confidently in German and English, including for complex tax and accounting matters.
