C++ Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)
We're redefining Adobe's Content Platform with cloud-based collaboration and content services that power seamless experiences across platforms. Join our Client Libraries team in Hamburg as a senior C++ engineer and help define how Adobe products connect to our cloud-native microservices — from real-time collaboration and notifications to content workflows. You'll own client libraries and SDKs end to end, working closely with teams in the US and India, and help shape how users experience connected, collaborative workflows across platforms. What you'll do
- Own and evolve C++ client libraries and SDKs together with your team
- Drive implementation of sophisticated features across our library portfolio
- Shape test strategy and automation to ensure high quality
- Establish practices for robust, secure code
- Mentor others and share knowledge across teams Work directly with colocated server teams and partner teams in the US and India
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of C++17 or newer
- Proficient in writing and maintaining tests
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in German and English Comfortable in technical discussions and code reviews with constructive feedback
Nice to have
- Experience with ASIO
- Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
