Corporate & Commercial Locum Solicitor (m/w/d)
The firm is seeking a commercially minded lawyer who can start immediately and quickly integrate into the department, providing support whilst a permanent recruitment process is undertaken. The initial requirement is for 3 days per week, although there is flexibility for additional days depending on workload.

The successful candidate will manage an existing caseload of corporate and commercial matters and be confident handling work with minimal supervision. This role is suited to an experienced solicitor who can hit the ground running and provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients.The caseload will include a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, and responsibilities are likely to include:
- Advising on general corporate and commercial transactions
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
- Supporting clients on business and corporate governance matters
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion
- Providing technical support and guidance where requiredSupervising and reviewing work undertaken by a junior solicitorMaintaining excellent standards of client service and file management
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in corporate and commercial law
- Experience managing their own caseload independently
- The ability to quickly pick up and progress matters
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
- Excellent communication and organisational skillsA pragmatic and commercially focused approach
