Data Scientist (m/w/d)

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
• Build scalable data science workflows using Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, statistical modeling, clustering, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
• Work with large-scale datasets from multiple business domains, including transactional, operational, and customer data.
• Monitor and improve model performance through experimentation, validation, and continuous optimization.
• Utilize MLflow for experiment tracking, model management, and reproducibility.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support the development of dashboards and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, version control, testing, and documentation.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Experience in applying machine learning and statistical techniques to business problems.
• Practical experience with machine learning libraries
• Experience working with MLflow and model management frameworks.
• Understanding of feature engineering, model validation, performance evaluation, and explainability techniques.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and collaborative software development practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Nice to have: Databricks certificationin the Data & Analytics area
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1), German at the B2 level is desirable
