Key responsibilities in your new role
- Implement and code embedded software modules (C/Bare Metal) for motor control systems, strictly adhering to coding guidelines (e.g., MISRA C ) and safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Assist in translating system-level requirements into software tasks, writing clear code comments, and contributing to technical documentation within the V-Model process
- Create UML diagrams (e.g., using PlantUML) to document state machines, sequences, and component interfaces as part of the design handover process
- Write and execute unit tests using automated testing frameworks to ensure code coverage and quality; assist in maintaining the IDE and building environments
- Collaborate with the team in cross-functional meetings (Hardware, System Engineering, Validation) to understand system behavior and report bugs effectively Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A university degree in C omputer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable course of study
- 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software design and software development
- Programming skills in C ; initial programming experience with Python for test automation is a plus
- Have an interest in the function and potential of microcontrollers
- Experience working with oscilloscopes and embedded software tracing tools Be a team player with a passion for developing new and creative ideas Fluency in written and spoken German and English #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
