European Patent Attorney (m/f/d)

• Coordination with external European patent law firms: selection, quality control, benchmarking
• Managing patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European patent office and the German patent office
• Participation in European patent litigation and safeguarding the business's freedom to operate
• Assisting in the European patent law training of Chinese patent engineers
• Controlling the quality of English-language patent application drafting

• A successfully completed degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or related fields
• Additional qualification as a German patent attorney and initial professional experience as a European patent attorney
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, with English as the working language
• Knowledge of the Chinese language and culture is highly desirable
• Honesty, strong communication and coordination skills, and a high degree of self-motivation
