Expert Commissioning (m/f/d) (Inbetriebnahmeingenieur/in)

As an Expert Commissioning, you will be part of our Quality & Commissioning team, applying your electrical expertise to ensure systems are properly installed, tested, and commissioned, while supporting the smooth and coordinated execution of all commissioning activities.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commissioning activities for assigned electrical systems and packages, ensuring structured progression from construction completion through testing, energization, and final turnover
• Provide strong technical expertise in electrical engineering topics (HV/MV/LV power systems, distribution, protection, and controls), ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and project continuity
• Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical commissioning activities, coordinating closely with vendors, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
• Develop and execute electrical commissioning strategies, including test procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), work packs, and detailed documentation aligned with project and compliance requirements
• Plan and manage electrical system sequencing, energization activities, LOTO/permit-to-work processes, and risk mitigation across complex power systems
• Provide Expert knowledge in electrical QA/QC activities and field execution, including inspections, walkdowns, punch list management, testing (e.g. power quality, protection, loop checks), and final system close-out

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Several years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in data centers or missiong-critical facilities
• Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including HV/MV/LV power systems, AC/DC distribution, and load flow concepts
• Experience with electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and protection schemes
• Familiar with commissioning standards
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
