An owner-managed sales company specializing in high-quality medical products for a wide range of surgical fields—including thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiology, neurosurgery, urology, and other hospital disciplines—is expanding its team. As a leading player in their field for decades, this trading group covers Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe and is headquartered in Austria.
Your Tasks
Role Overview
- Core Aim: Actively support all sales and marketing activities for our specialized product range.
- Growth & Retention: Promote premium products to existing clients and manage both current and new relationships to achieve sales targets.
- Direct Reporting: Work as a key member of the international sales team, reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Market Development
- Customer Trust: Understand the needs of existing and potential new customers by building trust through daily interactions.
- Market Analysis: Keep a clear grasp of customer requirements, competitor actions, market positioning, and territory developments.
- Target Audience: Focus on all relevant decision-makers in hospitals involved in our medical specialties.
- Area Responsibility: Lead all sales activities for your product range and region with the autonomy to make independent decisions.
- Strategic Driving: Implement marketing and sales strategies to continuously improve sales and overall profitability.
- KOL Management: Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build and maintain proactive, long-term professional relationships.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain excellent relationships with local government agencies, regulatory bodies, and healthcare organizations. Event Representation: Represent the company proudly at key conferences, medical congresses, and trade shows.
2. Clinical Support & Training
- Application Training: Provide high-quality support and training for the proper application of specialized medical products in surgical procedures.
- On-Site Assistance: Assist doctors and nursing staff directly during clinical procedures involving our tailored technologies.
- Clinical Communication: Develop and maintain medical communication to support, document, and promote product usage.
- Patient Safety: Ensure that all medical products are used correctly, strictly adhering to intended use and safety guidelines.
Your Profile
- Professional Experience: Proven background in sales or as a product specialist, ideally with medical devices within the hospital sector.
- Clinical Alternative: Practical experience working in a hospital environment (e.g., catheter labs or operating theatres) with deep familiarity of relevant products.
- Relationship Skills: A proven ability to win, retain, and develop customer relationships through strong, sustainable partnerships.
- Working Style: Highly energetic, deeply committed, and fully dedicated to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Polish and English is essential for daily international communication.
