Financial Controller (m/f/d)

• Review and validate operational calculations and cost structures across our international locations
• Lead the annual budgeting process for the group and monitor budget performance, including variance analyses
• Prepare investment plans, evaluate investment cases and create the related documentation
• Monitor receivables across the group: analyze open items and follow up with the responsible operators to ensure timely collection
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management, consolidating input from our subsidiaries
• Coordinate with finance contacts at our international offices to ensure consistent processes and reporting standards
• Identify inefficiencies and optimize processes at the interface between Finance and Operations, both in Berlin and across locations
• Act as the go-to contact for financial questions from the business, working across time zones and cultures

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or a related field
• Several years of experience in financial controlling, ideally in an international company
• Solid accounting knowledge and good command of German GAAP (HGB)
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and investment planning
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of operational business processes
• Confident communicator who can hold their ground with operational teams
• Excellent English skills; fluent German
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus
• Hands-on mentality and drive to improve processes
