Aufgaben Financial Accounting & Closing Support the

• Perform period-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Reconcile balance sheet and intercompany accounts.
• Support group-wide consolidation and financial reporting processes.

Tax & Statutory Reporting Prepare and

• Assist with corporate tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Maintain and further develop accounting policies, chart of accounts, and closing procedures.
• Support internal and external audit activities. Processes & Systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
• Maintain relevant SAP master data and accounting structures in coordination with international Finance teams.
• Support automation and process efficiency initiatives. Shared Service Center Collaboration
• Work closely with our Shared Service Center on day-to-day accounting activities. Provide guidance, coordination, and quality oversight for outsourced accounting processes.
• Ensure effective communication and smooth process flow between all involved teams.

Profil Qualifications & Experience

• Completed commercial training/apprenticeship with a focus on accounting, finance, or taxation, or a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in financial accounting is advantageous
• Professional qualification such as Certified Accountant ( Bilanzbuchhalter IHK ) or a comparable certification is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); familiarity with US GAAP is a plus but not required. Experience with VAT and statutory reporting is beneficial.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
