Intern (m/f/d) in Investment Strategy Team

Key responsibilities

• You will contribute to data analytics for rates and emerging markets movements, performance measurement and ongoing portfolio management.
• You will contribute to the development and implementation of the global investment strategy of Allianz in the rates and emerging markets space.
• You will support the preparation of investment cases through qualitative and quantitative analysis of rates, emerging markets and derivative markets as well as within a wide range of fixed income segments (from sovereign to credit to EM and FX).
• You will update and improve tools for regular market updates
• You will perform market analysis and your own research projects.
• Support internal strategy and financial market communications.

Qualifications:

• Highly proficient data analytical skills with genuine interest in data is a must.
• Interest in capital markets and investments. Rates, emerging markets, FX, derivatives know-how would be a plus.
• We are looking for people with initiative who can work independently within a very international and dynamic environment.
• You have an inquisitive mind and you learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills and abilities to give and take feedback

Experience:

• You must be registered as student for the entire duration of the internship.
• You have completed, or are currently studying for, an undergraduate degree in business administration, economics or mathematics, with a strong academic record.
• Previous work experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Fluent in English is a must, other languages are a plus.
