From morning dailies to after-work drinks, team spirit is essential to us. What connects us is more than working on the same product. We share ideas, challenge each other's thinking, offer honest feedback, and support one another's development. We believe great software comes from people who stay curious, take ownership, and grow together. Whether you're shipping your first feature or learning a new technology, you'll be part of a team that celebrates progress and success together. Besides our great community, we also offer numerous other benefits...

As a Junior Android Developer, you'll help turn that vision into a reliable, intuitive mobile experience. Working with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android technologies, you'll develop features that make everyday banking easier for our customers. You'll collaborate with experienced teammates, contribute to technical decisions, and gradually take ownership of features from development to release. This is an opportunity to grow your engineering skills while building a product that makes a real difference. [

  • Build features that matter: Develop and deliver Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, focusing on usability, performance, and reliability.
  • Contribute to a scalable foundation: Help implement and improve our modular Android architecture using MVVM, Kotlin Coroutines, and Android architecture components.
  • Turn ideas into working solutions: Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and fellow engineers to transform requirements into functional mobile experiences.
  • Deliver a reliable MVP: Contribute to the team's goal of delivering 80% of prioritized MVP user flows, integrating backend APIs and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Write code we're proud of: Maintain high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and clear documentation.
  • Make development better every day: Support improvements to our CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and shared components while learning from feedback and team discussions.

What we're looking for:

  • Android development experience: Around 1–3 years of hands-on experience building native Android applications, or equivalent experience gained through internships or personal projects.
  • Kotlin knowledge: A solid understanding of Kotlin and familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
  • Android fundamentals: Understanding of Android architecture components, MVVM, and asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines.
  • API integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and Git-based development workflows.
  • Quality mindset: You care about writing clean, maintainable code and are eager to improve your testing and debugging skills.
  • Collaborative approach: You enjoy solving problems with others, are open to feedback, and communicate confidently in English.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Espresso.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app release processes.
  • Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and Google Play Store deployment.
  • Experience with Java or working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • German language skills.
