Develop and operate the scalable microservices that form the backbone of the SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Implement and maintain features for the central API gateway, helping to manage traffic, security, and observability.
- Enhance our core Kubernetes infrastructure by developing features that improve the deployment experience for developers using the SAP Business Application Studio.
- Adopt a 'you build it, you run it' philosophy by taking ownership of your features from code to deployment. This includes participating in on-call rotations to guarantee 24/7 service reliability for our customers.
- Grow your technical capabilities by collaborating closely with senior engineers, actively learning, and applying best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years of professional development experience. We also invite outstanding graduates with strong foundational skills to apply.
- Proficiency in a backend language like Go (Golang), C++, Java, or Node.js. Go is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-native paradigms, including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and experience with tools like Jenkins, or similar.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for distributed systems such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Fluent English language skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
