Legal Counsel/Lawyer (m/w/d)

• Contribute to Bizcap Germany’s debt recovery strategies, supervise and support Bizcap’s in-house and outside law firm debt recovery teams managing Bizcaps default portfolios, and navigating complex insolvency proceedings to minimize risk and maximize recovery. Lending & Structuring:
• Provide legal support on commercial loan structures, ensuring all lending activities comply with German regulatory frameworks. Global Collaboration:
• Partner closely with the Bizcap global legal team to align local processes with broader company standards and global best practices. Outside Counsel Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact and manager for external German law firms, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality representation. Fast-Paced Operations:
• Comfortably manage a high volume of files and shifting priorities in a dynamic fintech/alternative lending atmosphere.

• German Qualified Lawyer: You are admitted to practice law in Germany (Volljurist).
• 5+ Years of Direct Experience: You have at least 5 years of post-qualification legal experience, specifically dealing with debt recovery and/or insolvency work.
• Fast-Paced Fluency: You have a proven track record of managing high-volume workloads without breaking a sweat or losing attention to detail.
• Language Skills: Exceptional communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken) are mandatory to collaborate with local markets and global teams.
• Bonus Points If You Have: Experience in secured lending and asset-based financing. A background in general corporate work, helping businesses scale operationally.
