Manager Controlling (m/f/d) (Betriebswirt/in (Hochschule) - Rechnungswesen und Controlling)

• Independently managing and coordinating the budget and forecast, including monitoring targets and resource allocation; overseeing the monthly closing process
• Analysis and reporting of plan/actual variances, as well as deriving recommendations for action
• Conducting special analyses and collaborating on or supporting strategic projects
• Supporting decision-making proposals and profitability analyses
• Close collaboration with relevant departments within the LAT Group and, where applicable, the Lufthansa Group
• Further development of the content and methodology of planning and management systems and the methods used

• Degree in economics, business informatics, or similar, with 3–5 years’ controlling experience
• Airline industry experience is a plus
• Strong numerical and statistical skills
• Clear communication at management and customer levels
• Ability to present complex content tailored to the audience and switch between detailed analysis and the big picture
• Strategic thinking and process understanding
• Solid knowledge of statistical methods and relevant software (SAP CO; MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Interest in continuous learning
• Advanced German and good English skills
