Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Development, design and engineering of components, assemblies and mechanical systems for our test benches and equipment
Creation and maintenance of 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks
Concept development and mechanical design of customer-specific technical solutions
Preparation and review of design documents, bills of materials and technical documentation
Technical coordination with suppliers and selection of suitable components and manufacturing partners
Support with cost calculations for the preparation of technical quotations
Involvement in our projects from design and manufacturing through assembly to commissioning
Close collaboration with our electrical engineering, software development, project management and manufacturing teams
Ensuring compliance with technical requirements regarding quality, costs and deadlines

Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
Ideally, at least two years of practical experience in mechanical design – motivated graduates with relevant hands-on experience are also welcome
Good working knowledge of SolidWorks or a comparable 3D CAD system
Strong technical understanding and solid knowledge of mechanics and thermodynamics
Understanding of manufacturing processes and a practical approach to mechanical design challenges
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Enjoy working in interdisciplinary project teams
Very good German and good English language skills
