Medical Equipment and Device Service Technician/Engineer (m/f/x) - Berlin, Germany
As a Medical Equipment and Device Field Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting medical (C-arms and mammography systems) and dental (OPG, CBCT, and portable) product lines. Customer Service, Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to distributors in Europe, including troubleshooting, problem resolution and general assistance for medical equipment.
- Perform installation, maintenance, repairs and technical inspections.
- Deliver training to customers and partners on proper equipment use and handling.
Business Travel and On-Site Service:
Carry out service-related business trips within Europe and internationally, which include installations, repairs, inspections, and other technical service activities.
Logistics, Warehouse and Spare Parts Management:
Handle goods receipt and dispatch processes, including unloading deliveries, safe storage of equipment, preparation and shipment of devices and parts, as well as coordination with transport providers. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for service and customer needs.
Administrative and Service Operations:
Prepare necessary sales and shipping documentation (e.g. Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice). Perform administrative tasks related to service operations, logistics and spare parts management.
Equipment Preparation and Exhibitions:
Inspect, adapt and configure machines for shipment according to customer requirements, including technical adjustments where needed. Support installation and deinstallation of equipment at exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or a comparable degree or relevant practical experience
- Professional experience is not required, but considered an advantage
- Experience in customer service or technical support for medical equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent English is required; German and/or Korean language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis with no travel restrictions
Valid work permit for Germany required
