The Role: MEP Project Planner
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, you will take responsibility for planning, scheduling and programme controls across large-scale M&E projects. You will develop and maintain programmes covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning, working closely with project teams, clients and specialist subcontractors. Rotation can be discussed, with the standard arrangement operating on a 17/4 basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master baseline programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Create detailed M&E programmes covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Integrate subcontractor programmes into the overall project schedule
- Monitor progress and produce weekly and monthly programme reports
- Develop KPIs, dashboards and project controls reporting
- Assess programme changes and prepare time impact analysis where required
- Develop and manage commissioning programmes
- Work closely with project teams, clients, design teams and subcontractors
Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous experience as an MEP Planner, M&E Planner or Project Planner within mechanical and electrical building services
- Strong construction planning experience on large-scale M&E projects is required
- Hands-on experience using MS Project is essential
- Strong understanding of M&E design, procurement, installation and commissioning programmes
Preferred Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred
- Data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical or large-scale commercial experience beneficial
- Primavera P6 and previous European project experience beneficial
About You
You are an experienced MEP Project Planner with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction and the sequencing required to deliver complex building services projects. You will be confident managing detailed programmes, monitoring progress and communicating programme risks clearly to project teams and stakeholders.
