- Lead future-proof network transformation by challenging existing setups and initiating new operating models, including innovative and greenfield approaches
- Shape future network concepts, capability standards and frameworks (incl. roadmaps, best practices, and governance for a future-ready network)
- Drive supplier and capability development roadmaps from concept through execution to close capability gaps and enable scalability
- Own end-to-end supplier performance and governance (quality, delivery reliability, cost efficiency, responsiveness), defining KPI frameworks and enabling corrective and preventive actions
- Support network footprint expansion and develop new supplier opportunities aligned with strategic, geographical and technical requirements
- Lead contracting and commercial steering (framework agreements and supplier negotiations) to secure sustainable performance and constructive partnership
- Act as key cross-functional interface across Workshop Management, Technical Operations, Maintenance and Sales & Service, ensuring alignment with operational and customer needs
- Identify operational, capacity and supply chain risks and lead transformation initiatives that enhance network resilience and flexibility
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Min. 8 years of experience in supplier development/management, network management/operations or technical procurement/purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the rail industry
- Proven track record in improving supplier performance and delivering measurable business impact
- Strong experience in contract negotiation, stakeholder management and cross-functional project execution
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
- Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving
- Fluency in English; another European language is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
