Leading and developing the outbound operations team

Ensuring the timely processing of customer orders and customer satisfaction
Strategic resource planning and optimal coordination of order volumes and staffing
Managing, monitoring, and optimizing work processes, as well as reviewing process quality
Ensuring compliance with contractual service levels and productivity targets
Initiating and implementing improvement projects
Analyzing and monitoring key performance indicators and supporting the team in implementing measures
Participating in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits and certifications

A bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on logistics or a comparable field, orcompleted vocational training in a relevant field
Several years of hands-on logistics experience in a logistics company and experience in managing a team (>50 employees, ideally in a multi-shift system)
Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and container scheduling
A fair, motivating, and consistent leadership style
A strong hands-on approach, organizational skills, and a high level of customer and service awareness
Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ideally SAP)
Good written and spoken English skills
