In the project you will perform foundational research on towards understanding novel correlated phases in van-der-Waals heterostructures. The position is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) for 3 years within a QUANTERA project, Europe's premier co-funded quantum research program.
What we are looking for:
You have successfully completed a scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent Diploma) in physics and hold a PhD in the field of physics with above-average grades. Ideally, you have already gained several years of postdoctoral research experience in the field of quantum transport in van der Waals heterostructures. You should have furthermore have experience with fabricating, characterizing and contacting complex van-der-Waals heterostuctures, low-temperature electronic measurements of quantum Hall and superconducting states.
