In this strategic role, you will combine your expertise in Less-than-Container Load (LCL) products, tender pricing, and commercial analysis to develop winning pricing strategies for global and European tenders. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform LCL tender pricing , with a strong focus on CFS-to-CFS operation for global and European RFQs
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies that balance win probability, customer value and profitability
  • Analyze customer volumes, shipment profiles, trade lanes, costs and total customer spend to assess the overall business case
  • Conduct risk/reward and spend analysis to identify commercially attractive opportunities while protecting P&L
  • Consider the wider door-to-door customer proposition , even where the primary pricing scope is CFS-to-CFS
  • Bring LCL product expertise into the tender process and ensure pricing reflects operational, network and product realities
  • Partner closely with Sales, Tender Management, LCL Product, Operations and other stakeholders throughout the tender process
  • Support tender negotiations and pricing adjustments where required
  • Use tender outcomes and market insights to continuously improve LCL pricing strategies and approaches
  • Support new LCL product and commercial initiatives , translating customer and tender requirements into viable solutions

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in LCL, freight forwarding, pricing, tender management or a related product function
  • Strong practical understanding of the LCL product, network and cost drivers
  • Proven experience in tender pricing
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and make clear, data-driven recommendations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced Excel/data analysis skills; experience with BI or pricing tools is an advantage
