Your Tasks
- Support space projects in the development, integration, and testing of propulsion systems from proposal phase through launch campaign
- Prepare test procedures and test plans, and perform gaseous, liquid, and electrical functional testing of satellite propulsion systems, equipment, and demonstrators
- Develop, build, maintain, and continuously improve test stands for development programs and test execution
- Specify, procure, assemble, and maintain test and measurement equipment
- Perform filling, pressurization, and drying operations on propulsion systems and related subassemblies
- Plan, supervise, and execute system-level tests at production facilities, test centers, and launch sites
- Provide test engineering expertise to subsystem engineering teams, present test results to projects and customers, and contribute to future satellite project proposals
- Handle hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with safety requirements
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Hands-on experience in Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), ideally with propulsion system testing
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including their static and dynamic behavior
- Experience in writing test procedures; knowledge of data acquisition software scripting, automated test equipment, and handling hazardous gases/liquids is an advantage
- Strong willingness to learn and quickly understand new and complex technical topics
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think creatively and work both independently and flexibly
- Willingness to travel and work outside regular business hours when required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, fluent English, German language skills advantageous, and a valid Class B driving license (car)
