Tasks & responsibilities
- Bring together Quality, clinical, operational, and compliance data to create an integrated view of enterprise Quality risk.
- Identify emerging, systemic, and cross-functional risks before they become significant Quality or compliance issues.
- Convert complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
- Provide independent Quality oversight and challenge risk assessments, mitigation strategies, control effectiveness, and risk-acceptance decisions.
- Establish and monitor risk indicators, thresholds, trends, and escalation criteria.
- Support Quality governance, risk-based assurance planning, management reviews, audits, and regulatory inspection readiness.
- Track whether mitigation actions are completed and deliver the intended reduction in risk.
- Matrix-lead a team of Data Analytics Operations Managers by setting priorities, coordinating capacity, coaching team members, and ensuring consistent delivery.
- Work across organizational boundaries to embed proactive, data-driven risk management throughout the business.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a scientific discipline with several years of GxP experience within the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, or regulatory authorities; a PhD would be a valuable addition.
- Direct Clinical Trials experience is a must (e.g. CRA, Clinical Project Manager)
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to identify and manage complex business risks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into risk mitigation and continuous improvement actions.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of quality management processes and risk-based approaches within regulated environments.
