Responsibilities

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of database or data warehouse systems internals including relational database design and distributed databases/MPP architectures.
Lead strategic data architecture and database design discussions with customers.
Drive and oversee workload analysis, performance benchmarking and troubleshooting efforts with customers in their environments.
Clearly communicate deep technical topics to customers.
Influence the engineering team roadmap towards building a product that is scalable, easy to use and build on, and addresses customer needs.
Conduct POCs with customers in competitive situations.
Leverage good coding/scripting skills to automate tasks and improve workload analysis mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent.
10+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
Experience in writing complex, highly‑optimized SQL queries across large datasets.
Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment.
Experience with large‑scale data analytics and data warehousing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in software development, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in external enterprise customer‑facing role as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences.

Salary: EUR 60000 - 80000 per year
