Your Role
- High-frequency and DC characterization of transistors and integrated circuits , including S-parameter measurements up to 120 GHz , DC transistor characteristics measurements , RF linearity measurements , and RF high-power characterization
- Design and improve measurement systems to enhance laboratory capabilities and measurement accuracy
- Develop lab automation software to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency , leveraging programming skills and knowledge of lab equipment automation
- Introduce and improve processes for measurement system verification and data management to ensure quality and traceability
- Support laboratory organization in the areas of documentation , maintenance , calibration , inventory management , and investment planning
Your Profile
- A degree in
- Electrical Engineering
- ,
- Microsystems Engineering
- , or a comparable technical field, or completed training as an
- electronics technician
- At least
- 1-3 year of professional experience
- in a relevant field, ideally in
- RF characterization
- or a related area
- Profound experience
- in the
- electrical characterization of semiconductor components
- , with a solid understanding of
- RF electronics
- and
- RF testing
- Good knowledge
- of the
- operating principles of semiconductor transistors
- , providing a strong foundation for RF characterization work
- Programming skills
- in
- Python
- and/or
- MATLAB
- , or similar scripting languages used for
- lab equipment automation
- , ideally with knowledge in
- object-oriented programming
- and
- AI assisted code generation
- Structured and analytical working style with high independence and strong problem-solving skills , as well as a strong dedication to laboratory work
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills , with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
