The Labor Relations & Tariff Policy team is responsible for shaping labor relations strategy, collective bargaining policies, and employment conditions across various DHL Group business units. The department represents the employer’s interests in dealings with trade unions and employee representatives, leading negotiations and providing strategic guidance on labor relations matters.

Your responsibilities
- Prepare and strategically support collective bargaining negotiations in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Independently lead collective bargaining negotiations in coordination with DHL Group entities, trade unions, and employee representatives.
- Manage the follow-up of negotiations, including documentation, internal communication, and implementation of negotiated agreements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business units on the interpretation and application of collective agreements and related labor relations matters.
- Provide expert guidance to management on collective and individual employment law issues. Monitor labor relations developments and contribute to the definition of labor policy and negotiation strategies.
Your profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Social Sciences, Communication, Psychology, Human Resources, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in HR, particularly in Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Collective Bargaining, Co-determination, or a comparable function.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of collective and individual employment law.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills combined with a solution-oriented approach. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Fluent German and good English language skills. Willingness to travel regularly within Germany (approximately 25%).
