Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d)

• Review and validate the accounting of our subsidiaries, working closely with the local accountants in each entity
• Consolidate the financial statements of the group (HGB and IFRS)
• Prepare monthly closings as well as annual financial statements at entity and group level
• Prepare and analyze P&L statements and balance sheets
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with our international subsidiaries
• Ensure consistent accounting standards and processes across the group
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis
• Support external audits and handle VAT-related topics in coordination with tax advisors
• Collaborate with management and operations on financial planning and strategy

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in group accounting, financial controlling or a comparable role
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Hands-on experience with consolidation and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, enough to review and challenge the work of others
• Experience in a mid-sized company (Mittelstand) and a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with DATEV and LucaNet is a plus
• Independent, structured and proactive work style
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working across cultures and time zones
