A well-funded renewable energy developer that is continuing to expand its presence across the German market. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Grid Connection Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative technical team where you'll take ownership of grid connection activities from early-stage development through to project delivery, working on a significant pipeline of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage grid connection activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Coordinate with DSOs/TSOs throughout the connection process.
Review technical connection requirements, studies and connection offers.
Support the design and optimisation of MV and HV grid connection concepts.
Work closely with project development, engineering, construction and external consultants to deliver grid connection solutions. Coordinate external engineering partners and technical service providers. Support technical negotiations relating to grid infrastructure and connection agreements. Provide technical support throughout project development and delivery.

Your Profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within grid connection, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
Good understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and grid connection processes.
Experience working with network operators and external stakeholders is advantageous.
Knowledge of German grid codes (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110/4120) would be beneficial.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent German with a good level of English.
