Lead industrial design projects across BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio & BIOLAB innovation initiatives
Shape product strategy & contribute to product development from early exploration through implementation
Translate user, clinical, business, and technical insights into meaningful product experiences
Drive design activities in close collaboration with engineering, UX, human factors, product management, and manufacturing teams
Develop compelling visualizations, prototypes, & design concepts to communicate, test, & refine ideas
Plan & facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders, physicians, & healthcare professionals
Maintain & further evolve BIOTRONIK’s hardware design language & design standards
Support BIOLAB venture & innovation activities through concept development, visual storytelling & executive-level presentations

Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related discipline
Several years of professional experience in industrial design, ideally within medical technology or other highly regulated, complex product environments
Proven track record of leading industrial design projects from concept through implementation
Strong expertise in human-centered design, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent skills in visualization, prototyping, storytelling, presentation, and workshop facilitation
Proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, and other relevant design tools
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English, German is a plus
Design, build, and evaluate physical prototypes using a range of prototyping technologies, including CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, and model-making techniques
Own & continuously evolve BIOLAB’s hardware prototyping capabilities, tools, processes & workshop infrastructure to enable rapid experimentation and innovation
Establish best practices to make prototyping resources accessible
