Senior Manager, Technology & Innovation - Control & Connectivity Solutions (m/f/d)
As our new Senior Manager, Technology & Innovation, you will shape the future of control systems used in off-road mobile machinery worldwide. Leading a team of Architects and Innovation Engineers, you will define and drive the technology roadmap for next-generation Controllers, Displays, Remote Controls, and Joysticks, helping Danfoss Power Solutions strengthen its position as a global technology leader. This is a unique opportunity to combine people leadership, technology strategy, and innovation in a highly international environment. Working across our global engineering and portfolio organization, you will turn emerging technologies into customer value, accelerate the development of future product platforms, and help build solutions that improve machine performance and support the green transition. The role is ideally based at one of our Danfoss Power Solutions locations in Northern Europe, while offering flexibility for other locations where local employment regulations allow.
Danfoss engineers solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption, and enable electrification. Our solutions are used in areas such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, power conversion, motor control, industrial machinery, marine, and on- and off-highway equipment. We also provide solutions for data centers, renewable energy, energy storage, heat recovery, as well as contribute to district energy solutions for cities. What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape the future of our Control & Connectivity Solutions portfolio by defining and executing the technology and innovation roadmap for next-generation platforms and products.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Architects and Innovation Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Accelerate innovation by guiding concepts from idea to execution and ensuring a healthy pipeline of short-, mid-, and long-term technology initiatives.
- Connect customer and market needs with engineering capabilities by partnering closely with Portfolio, Product Management, Engineering, and Procurement teams across the global organization.
- Strengthen Danfoss' position as a technology leader by driving platform strategies, contributing to architecture decisions, and supporting breakthrough solutions that create measurable value for customers.
What We're Looking For
- Proven people leadership experience managing and developing technical teams within engineering, technology, innovation, or product development environments.
- Extensive experience developing embedded mechatronic products combining software, electronics, and mechanics.
- Experience defining technology, architecture, or innovation strategies for complex products and systems.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety, Machine Regulations, product compliance requirements, and Cybersecurity regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate and influence across global, cross-functional teams.
