What you'll build
As a Government Security (Senior) Risk Specialist (f/m/d) for Government Security (GS2) you will closely collaborate with all functions at SAP contributing to internal programs enabling SAP’s success in Public Sector and Restricted Industries markets. Your responsibilities include:
- Run and mature programs to monitor adherence to national security regulations which may impact SAP directly or indirectly through its engagements with customers and partners in the Sovereign Cloud environment
- Run analysis and report KPI’s that demonstrates SAP’s path of improvement to fulfil national security regulations in the US and abroad when delivering Sovereign Cloud capabilities
- Contribute to the National Security Governance risk management scheme with dedicated German focused risk reporting out of SAP SE on Sovereign Cloud
- Advise SAP employees in Sovereign Cloud and supporting fields at SAP in Germany on questions regarding national security protection measures
- Oversee the compliant administration, secure registry management, and legally sound handling of restricted materials and sensitive official data within the department
- Continuously collaborate with other corporate functions at SAP to ensure cross-border collaboration of SAP employees for SAP’s Sovereign Cloud customers in public sector and restricted industries
- Be advocate in SAP SE to strengthen understanding and posture of SAP National Security Services Inc. with all other SAP affiliates in Germany
- Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Political Science, or related field
- 5 years + Prior experience or strong familiarity with strict regulatory frameworks regarding the tracking, filing, and processing of sensitive documents and restricted information
- Business Experience in cooperation with public institutions and authorities is a plus
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Excellent German language skills both in written and spoken language; English skills both in written and spoken language
- Regular mandatory on-call duty for night-time and weekend coverage required
- Residing in Berlin or (direct) surroundings
- Willingness to go through personal security clearance (Government process)
