With 16,000+ employees, the company is continuing to modernise its SAP landscape, combining established SAP ECC systems with S/4HANA, SAP BTP and Cloud technologies. They are looking for an experienced Inhouse SAP Basis Administrator to join their established 7–8 person SAP Basis team. You will help shape the future SAP architecture, ensure the stability of the existing landscape and support new implementations and S/4HANA conversion projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced SAP Basis professional who wants to work in a modern hybrid SAP environment while developing further into areas such as S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Cloud, Fiori and new AI technologies.

Tasks

Supporting the design and development of the company's future SAP architecture and system landscape
Supporting new SAP implementations and the conversion of existing systems to S/4HANA
Administration, monitoring and ongoing support of existing SAP ECC, HANA and S/4HANA systems
Planning and preparing SAP patches, upgrades and release changes
Monitoring SAP applications, analysing technical issues and providing SAP Basis support and troubleshooting
Working with and coordinating external SAP service providers during technical projects
Supporting the continued development of the SAP landscape across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Cloud and new SAP technologies
Opportunity to work on future-focused projects involving SAP Build Work Zone, Fiori and AI technologies in the Cloud

Profile

3+ years of professional SAP Basis experience
Strong technical knowledge within SAP Basis and SAP system administration
S/4HANA and SAP BTP experience is beneficial but not essential, with opportunities to develop these skills internally
Previous exposure to SAP projects, implementations, upgrades or migrations would be beneficial
A proactive mindset with strong initiative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of new SAP, Cloud and BTP technologies
Languages - Fluent German / C1+
