Senior Specialist Import / Export & Trade Compliance (m/f/d)

- Coordinate and manage international inbound and outbound shipments in collaboration with logistics service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations, including tariff classification, documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Support export control and trade compliance activities such as sanction list screening, embargo checks and export license related processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of import/export procedures and logistics workflows as part of a greenfield manufacturing project.
- Monitor logistics service providers and ensure operational performance and compliance with defined KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, international suppliers, logistics partners and relevant authorities.
- Support the alignment of local logistics workflows with global processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in logistics and global trade processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in international logistics, customs or trade compliance, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of import/export processes and customs regulations.
- Experience with topics such as tariff classification, export control, sanction list screening or customs compliance is highly desirable.
- Experience working with SAP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic project environment and contribute to building new processes and structures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams and external partners.
- Fluent German and good English skills.

- Willingness to participate in an international onboarding program including 4-6 weeks of training in Taiwan and Arizona (USA).
- Mandarin language skills are considered a plus but are not required.
