Transaction Execution & Management

Support the full deal lifecycle on acquisitions and disposals across Germany and international markets, covering office, hotel, residential, logistics, and development assets. Prepare financial models, DCF analyses, and business plans for standing assets and development projects; stress-test assumptions and evaluate investment scenarios. Drafting or assisting with drafting and review Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, and other transaction documents. Coordinate and manage due diligence workstreams, including data room management, adviser coordination, and cross-departmental communication. Support signing and closing management, including CP tracking and condition satisfaction.

Investment Analysis & Underwriting

Screen, evaluate, and underwrite incoming acquisition opportunities across target asset classes and geographies. Prepare investment memoranda, board presentations, and transaction approval documents that clearly communicate financial metrics, investment thesis, and risk/return profile. Develop and maintain financial models (excel-based) for both stabilised assets and value-add / development opportunities; produce Key Metric Summaries. Conduct in-depth feasibility analysis for repositioning, conversion, and development scenarios.

Market Research & Deal Origination

Conduct comprehensive market research on target real estate sub-markets, including supply/demand dynamics, rental trends, yield movements, and competitive landscape. Build and maintain deal flow tracking tools and acquisition pipeline databases (CRM). (Support) Deal-sourcing efforts through broker engagement, market intelligence, and investment screening. Participate in meetings with brokers, institutional investors, JV partners, and other stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; MRICS / master's-level qualification a plus.
  • At least two years of professional experience in real estate investment, private equity (real estate), M&A, asset management, valuation, or brokerage.
  • Track record of financial modelling and investment analysis across European real estate markets; experience with development projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic financial models, DCF / IRR analysis, and scenario modelling – proficiency is non-negotiable.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills; ability to produce clear, concise investment presentations and board materials.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. large language models, AI-assisted research, prompt engineering) and/or CRM / deal management platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with data room platforms (e.g. Drooms, Intralinks, Datasite) is a plus.

Competencies & Personal Profile

  • Strong quantitative and analytical thinking – able to cut through complexity and build conviction on investment cases.
  • Self-starter with high initiative, ownership mentality, and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced deal environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to present financial analysis and investment logic concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and an appetite for continuous learning.

Languages: Excellent English (written and spoken) required; fluent German is a strong plus and highly preferred for the German market.
