Software Development Manager (all genders)

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the software development team
• Responsibility for the planning, management, and monitoring of all software development activities
• Definition and further development of software architectures, development standards, and quality guidelines
• Analysis and evaluation of customer, market, and product requirements, and derivation of technical solution approaches
• Responsibility for the timely and cost-effective implementation of software projects
• Selection, introduction, and further development of suitable technologies, development tools, and software platforms
• Ensuring software quality through appropriate development, testing, and release processes
• Management of external development partners and service providers and budget planning
• Close collaboration with product management, hardware development, sales, and service

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in hardware-related software development (full-stack) and in a leadership or project management role
• Experience in managing software projects and development processes as well as in quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of modern software architectures and development processes and understanding of current software technologies, development tools, platforms, and in embedded systems
• Programming experience in multiple programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Rust; Delphi is a plus) and deep understanding of communication protocols and data analysis
• Language skills: English (C1); German (B2)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, high problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Innovative mindset and openness to new technologies
