Space Mission Manager (m/f/d)

As a Space Mission Engineer you will

• Own the integrated mission plan, schedule, milestones and readiness activities.
• Coordinate spacecraft, payload, ground segment and launch-provider interfaces.
• Manage launch campaign preparation, mission documentation and delivery readiness.
• Coordinate mission-level requirements, ICDs, reviews, risks and dependencies with engineering teams and external partners.
• Lead LEOP, commissioning and operational-readiness planning.
• Act as the primary mission coordination interface across spacecraft suppliers, launch providers, ground-segment partners and internal technical teams.
• Track mission risks, critical-path items and cross-system integration issues.

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of working experience in mission management
• Experience with satellite mission development, AIT/AIV, launch integration or mission operations.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, ground segment, mission operations and launch interfaces.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external industrial partners.
• Familiarity with ECSS processes, mission reviews and technical documentation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
