The main tasks and responsibilities:

Management of modern IT systems, troubleshooting and resolution of malfunctions
Analysis and resolution of system errors during operation (L1 & L2 support)
Monitoring and further development and implementation of the IT infrastructure
Installation and independent commissioning of infrastructure systems as well as their documentation and preparation for operation
Ensuring the operation of hardware and software applications, including manual and automatic updates
User management for special applications Asset and infrastructure management
Ensuring the current data inventory for the installed hardware, software, licenses and - maintenance contracts
Communication with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service aspects and incident management.

Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.

Your Profile

Education: minimum Vocational Training or Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems orequivalent.
Professional Knowledge of using and configuring a switch is required, together with detailed Knowledge of MSOffice. Windows and Linux infrastructure.
IT experience with network servers and operating systems is desirable.
Knowledge of System Development Processes (DPA-ABD200) would be a plus.
CCNA certifications are an advantage
Languages: fluent German and proficient English
