For our office in Kaiserslautern, Delft or Budapest, we are looking for a UX Designer - Design Systems (m/f/d)*. Your environment As a UX Designer - Design Systems, you’ll join a multidisciplinary product enablement team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX Designers. You’ll work in an environment that values creativity, user-centric thinking, and teamwork, with colleagues based in the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. You will report to a UX Manager and regularly engage with the Design System team and other stakeholders.

Job Description
- Adapt the design system to enable accurate prototyping with AI tooling
- Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery.
- Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions.
- Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders.
- Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system; propose new components or improvements when needed.
- Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs.
- Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Deliver clear documentation and handover materials for seamless developer implementation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to shape system decisions.
- Contribute to raising design maturity and improving design processes across the organisation
- Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design systems and AI tooling.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX design experience
- Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of design systems; not just how they work, but why.
- Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions.
- Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation.
- Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility.
- Confident driving strategic decisions in a product triad.
- Strong collaborator with clear communication across Engineers, PMs, and Designers.
- Passionate about accessibility, inclusivity, and solving complex system-level challenges.
- Proactive mindset; you come with a plan, not just intent.
- Portfolio showing end-to-end design system work at meaningful scale.
