  • Performance marketing and everything that comes next: YouTube, search, referral, organic, affiliate, and the channels beyond performance — podcast, TV, OTT, OOH.
  • Partnerships and influencer. A real capability already, with far more in it.
  • CRM and lifecycle. Retention and reactivation are where a subscription business is won or lost. You'll hire and lead this.
  • Internationalisation. Which markets, in what order, with what playbook.
  • Pricing and discount architecture. Growth leads on pricing here. You own the structure, the promo calendar and the LTV/CAC trade-off. Brand has a voice on promo discipline and positioning, and the seam between you is explicit rather than assumed. Finance is your counterpart here.
  • Measurement. Building an incrementality layer on the attribution we already have. incrementality testing, marginal CAC, LTV/CAC targets by channel and by market, set jointly with finance — so we can evaluate large bets effectively.
  • A team. Our Head of Acquisition and her team, head of partnerships, an open Head of CLM, an open organic lead and an open martech / analyst function. Your job is to make them substantially better than they are today, and to raise the bar on who we hire next.
  • You'll work closely with our product and tech team on product-led growth, and alongside a VP Brand & Product (incoming, currently founder led) who owns creative, positioning and product marketing. Growth and brand are peers here by design.
  • You've owned growth through a comparable leg — roughly €40M to €250M — as the person accountable for it. Not as a channel lead inside someone else's scale-up.
  • Subscription or repeat-purchase DTC, ideally food or consumables, where retention and LTV drive the model. Physical product, not SaaS.
  • Group-level P&L. You've managed CAC, LTV and contribution margin, and you've cut spend when the marginal return didn't justify it.
  • Hands-on with measurement, excellent analytical rigor. Incrementality testing, marginal CAC analysis, attribution reweighting. You know what a channel ceiling looks like before you hit it, and what to do next. You love crunching numbers.
  • You've opened and scaled new channels inside the performance mix (YouTube, search, influencer, organic, referral) and beyond it (TV, OTT, podcast, OOH, affiliate). From zero.
  • You've expanded into new markets and made it work.
  • You've owned pricing and discount architecture, with a track record you can point at.
  • You've hired, led and developed senior people. You know how to build a growth org, and you raise the bar rather than fill seats.
  • You're comfortable with a blank canvas. We don't have infinite resources in tech, data or brand. You'll build with what's here while the org catches up to the ambition.

Helpful, not required: DACH market depth; German; podcast, TV or OTT specifically. On tenure: we weight depth over breadth. Four-plus years at one DTC business with internal progression tells us more than five logos. We're hiring a builder, not an operator. If you've scaled someone else's proven playbook, this isn't it. We're looking for the person who built the engine at a DTC scale up. So, this probably isn't for you if

  • Your scaling story is executing an established playbook in a new geography
  • One channel did the work, however large the budget
  • You've led a single market or a single function without group P&L exposure
  • Pricing, positioning or retention were someone else's problem
  • You've operated with effectively unlimited tech, data and brand resource (and cash)

What we offer

  • The full growth mandate, reporting directly to a co-founder. Short path from analysis to decision.
  • Real budget authority from day one, including trust to make large uncertain bets. We'd rather you place them and read them honestly than avoid them.
  • A profitable, product-led business with genuine product-market fit. Not an unsustainable burn story.
  • Meaningful equity through our VESOP, alongside competitive base and performance-linked compensation.
