Welding Engineer /Fachbauleiter:in (m/f/d) (Schweißer/in - Zentralheizungs- und Lüftungsbau)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Welding Engineer / Fachbauleiter:in (m/f/d) at TPC Germany GmbH, located in Dresden. The role combines engineering and site supervision responsibilities, including welding quality system implementation and technical compliance. The position also supports semiconductor facility and equipment installation projects, overseeing mechanical works and low-voltage (≤400V) electrical installation and inspection within the respective discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Fachbauleiter:in (Specialized Construction Supervisor) for esmc project
• Establish and maintain the welding quality management system in accordance with ISO 3834-2
• Act as Welding Coordinator in compliance with ISO 14731
• Develop and review WPS, WPQR, and welding procedures
• Perform welding quality supervision and inspection (QA/QC)
• Perform incoming inspection and control of welding-related materials (including base materials and consumables), review Mill Test Certificates (MTC), and ensure material traceability
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for materials and welding activities to ensure compliance with ISO 3834-2 and applicable standards
• Support mechanical design, equipment installation, and on-site construction activities
• Perform electrical safety testing and maintain test records in accordance with applicable standards
• Assist in project execution, schedule control, and quality management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certified International Welding Engineer (IWE) – Mandatory
• Familiar with ISO 3834 and welding standards
• Proficient in CAD tools (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
• Qualified for low-voltage electrical work (Elektrofachkraft or equivalent) - Good English communication skills (B2 or above preferred) Ergänzende Informationen:
