Your Role
- Be responsible for the technical support of MMIC Low Noise Amplifiers, Switches, Cross-switches, Antenna tuners and RF transistors Data is everything:
- Do lab measurements including sample preparation of RF LNAs, Switches, Cross-switches and Antenna tuners, e.g. S-parameters, noise figure, intermodulation and thermal measurements Identify needs :
- Tune circuits to optimize the performance for a specific frequency band or other customer requirements Shape the future:
- Do circuit simulations with CAE tools such as AWR (Microwave Office) or ADS (Advanced Design System) Keep the overview:
- Perform EM simulations of evaluation boards or phone antenna structures using HFSS or CST
- Convince with words:
- Contribute to application notes or other technical documents to be published on the Infineon webpage
- Expand your horizons:
- Do market research on potential new application areas or analyze competitor parts
Your Profile
- Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, Applied Physics or a similar field of subject Interests:
- Highly interested in hardware engineering with hands-on experience. Any prior experience in radio frequency microelectronics is a plus Experience:
- Prior experience with CAE tools such as AWR, ADS, HFSS and/or CST Language skills:
- Possess good reading and writing skills in English Please attach the following documents to your application:

- The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave.
