As our Continuous Business Improvement Partner, you will be a key member of the Global Tech Ops Strategy & Operational Excellence team, partnering with manufacturing sites and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize and deliver business improvement opportunities across our global network. You will support the deployment of the Ferring Production System, drive sustainable improvements across People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (PSQDC), and help build a strong culture of continuous improvement. Acting as a trusted partner and coach, you will lead strategic improvement initiatives, strengthen operational excellence capabilities and contribute to the long-term success of our Technical Operations organization.

Your day at Ferring

  • Partner with business leaders to identify strategic opportunities to improve People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (PSQDC) performance.
  • Support the design and optimization of management systems, including KPIs, visual performance management and review routines.
  • Assess improvement opportunities, conduct diagnostics, and define Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives using a standardized framework.
  • Monitor the deployment and maturity of the Lean Operating System across the Tech Ops network.
  • Collaborate with local Operational Excellence leaders to track and support efficiency improvement programs.
  • Lead cross-functional business improvement initiatives using a value stream management approach to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and capability building to strengthen continuous improvement practices across manufacturing sites.
  • Track and report progress on capability development and improvement activities to the global team.
  • Coach leaders and Operational Excellence teams to embed Lean leadership behaviors, daily management routines and sustainable continuous improvement practices.
  • Support business improvement initiatives across multiple sites, including temporary assignments and cross-functional projects when required.
  • Contribute to the development of global standards, site maturity assessments and strategic initiatives aligned with Tech Ops priorities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to advance value stream management practices across the organization.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

  • 5–10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence or Supply Chain processes.
  • Proven experience in project management, change management and business transformation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and measure business impact.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong facilitation, influencing and consensus-building capabilities across functions and organizational levels.
  • Fluent English and the local language of the job location, both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and diplomatic, with a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Lean expertise (must have)
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience applying Lean philosophy, methodologies and tools in operational environments.
  • Strong experience with Value Stream Mapping, Gemba, Process Confirmation and structured problem solving.
  • Deep understanding of Lean principles and their application to optimize processes and improve operational performance.
  • Practical approach with the ability to translate Lean concepts into sustainable day-to-day routines.
  • Experience coaching leaders and managers on Lean tools, behaviors and continuous improvement practices.

Nice to have

  • Experience with performance management systems, including KPI development and implementation.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience supporting or leading Lean transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and GMP requirements.
