Ground Station Engineer (m/f/d)

• Supporting Radio Frequency Compatibility Test (RFCT) process during the test campaigns ·
• Reviewing the Compatibility Verification Matrix, Test Procedures and test results ·
• Defining and executing the Radio Frequency Compatibility Test plan and production of the Test Report ·
• Maintain a plan of usage of the available NDIU (Network Data Interface Unit) ·
• Support the procurement of the NDIU · Configure and validate the NDIU · Support the NDIU operations · Overall maintenance of the Ground Station configuration · Supporting the station upgrade processes from the review of requirements to the validation and handover to operations ·

• University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering. ·
• Telecommunication Engineering knowledge, (i.e. RF expertise) including practical experience as RF engineer in ground-station ·
• Ground-Station knowledge (i.e. architecture, subsystem maintenance and operations, incident management, station performance). ·
• Configuration control (i.e. knowledge and experience in configuration management ) ·
• Document in production of technical reports reflecting the performed tests and the associated results

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of RF Compatibility Tests ·
• Familiarity with the ESOC environment: processes, configuration control ·
• Familiarity with ground station control processes and set-up ·
• Some experience dealing with external interfaces like M&O (Maintenance & Operations) and industrial suppliers ·
• Familiarity with Ground station maintenance and operations
