Your tasks

• Technical coordination and implementation of data center operation tasks at the Munich data center location
• Provision of critical data center infrastructure facilities, such as power supply, air conditioning, fire protection equipment and safety technology
• Coordination with data center provider for critical infrastructure
• Ensuring the functionality of your own technical security devices (access control system,) in accordance with defined data center requirements
• Coordination with provider for planning, managing and monitoring maintenance on the data center infrastructure
• Capacity Management - Calculation, planning and documentation of data center capacities area, electricity and climate in an existing capacity management tool in comparison with the real conditions in the data center
• Change management - planning, preparation and monitoring of changes in the data center infrastructure based on existing change management and service tools
• Incident Management - Management and control of troubleshooting in the data center infrastructure by operating teams and manufacturing companies Identifying risks for high-availability data center operations, recording them in the service tool and tracking them through to resolution Sales support - calculation of available data center capacities (area, electricity, climate) based on local conditions for preparing offers in response to customer inquiries Ensuring the quality and continuous updating of the documentation of the complete TGA technical building equipment of the data center Taking over the local EFK (electrical specialist) tasks for the data center and supporting the responsible VEFK. Planning, preparation and implementation of audits in accordance with national and international standards and norms by internal and external auditors Preparation and implementation of data center visitor tours for internal and external customers Planning, consulting and implementation of removals Quality assurance - Regular tours of the site for visual inspection of plant conditions

These can be acquired through completed vocational training in an electrical engineering background combined with several years of professional experience in the field of activity. In individual cases, the effects of the decisions to be made go beyond one's own area of responsibility.
